Research

In the process of creating a product there are several stages: concept design, analysis, research, development, product image, manufacturing, etc. We consider the research phase one of the most important, if not the most important. During the creation process, a great number of questions arise. With the concept design and the primary sketches, we may feel exultant, our concept design may be surprising and therefore we believe it will be a successful product, yet there are still unknown variables. We need to do exhaustive analysis and research of fabrication processes, materials, specifications, technical features, cost prices, operational cost, patent information…

There are so many processes to control for the product to be successful that the initial adrenaline rush from the concept design phase can turn into disillusion. Naturally, in the research stage we will find out that not everything is possible or with acceptable/affordable costs. We will get a lot of information about materials, alloys and even their production processes. Do we need a 5 axis CNC machine or is it enough with 3 axes? How much does it cost to produce with one or the other? Is it more profitable to work on the 5 axis one with a more expensive process, in order to gain some valuable time that will allow us to launch the product early? Will we use 1K, 3K, 12K fibre? With prepeg technology or manually impregnated? And the moulds, how much are they? In what material should we make the mould, how many units can be produced with each material?

There is a significant number of questions and a myriad of answers, engineers, manufacturers, qualities, material suppliers, brands of tube sets, fibres… there is so much information to gather that the research process becomes one of the most important. Your departments will progress a lot, and if they receive the most complete information at the right moment, they will progress in the right direction and avoid undesired results. Gathering all this information can cost you a lot of time and money but you can also avoid some headaches and have an opportunity to get a top quality product, within your expectations and fulfill all specifications and requirements.

The research process is often invaluable and offer you the possibility to grow as a professional. The more and better information you receive, the more you will learn and in the future you will have to invest less in research. Pure logic.

We carry out the research process to offer the best and most complete information.

Materials, engineers, manufacturers and a complete cost assessment for each different process.

We look for the best partners so that everything you need to outsource is top quality and the whole process benefits from it, so that everything is under control.

We offer various options to choose from, we will inform you and give our opinion about each company or process so you can make the best decision, but the decision is always yours. Under no circumstances we will put pressure on you to contract any service you are not interested in.
